We attach great importance to the privacy and personal information protection of our users (hereinafter referred to as "you"). When you use our products and/or services, we may collect and use your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how Lanox collects, uses, stores, shares, and transfers your personal information when providing products and/or services, the rights you have with respect to your personal information, and how Lanox safeguards the security of your personal information.

This Privacy Policy is closely related to the Lanox services you use and the various business functions included therein (hereinafter collectively referred to as "our products and/or services"). We recommend that you carefully read and confirm that you have fully understood the contents of this Policy before using our products and/or services, and that you make the choices you deem appropriate in accordance with the guidance provided herein. By starting to use, or continuing to use, our products and/or services after we update this Privacy Policy, you indicate that you have fully understood and agreed to this Policy (including any updated versions), and that you consent to our collection, use, storage, and sharing of your relevant information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

I. Scope of Application of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to your access to and use of our products and services through the web pages and client applications of Lanox-affiliated platforms, as well as through the Lanox software development kits (SDKs) and application programming interfaces (APIs) made available to third-party websites and applications. However, where a specific product and/or service has its own separate privacy terms or privacy agreement, such separate privacy terms or privacy agreement shall prevail; for matters not addressed therein, this Policy shall apply.

This Policy does not apply to the following:

(1) Information and/or services provided by third parties that are included in, or linked to from, our products and/or services (including any third-party applications, websites, products, services, etc.). Such information and/or services are operated by the respective third parties, and your use of them is governed by the rules on the collection and use of personal information separately communicated to you by such third parties.
(2) Any other products and/or services not provided to you by Lanox.

II. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

We collect and use your personal information in accordance with the principles of lawfulness and legitimacy, minimum necessity, and openness and transparency, and for the purposes stated in this Policy. If we use your personal information for purposes not set out in this Policy, or collect and use your personal information for other specific purposes, we will separately inform you in a reasonable manner (including but not limited to updating this Policy, re-executing documents, page prompts, pop-up windows, in-site messages, emails, website announcements, or other means readily accessible to you) of the rules governing the collection and use of such information, including the purposes, methods, and scope thereof. We will ensure that such new requirements remain consistent with the principles of lawfulness, legitimacy, and necessity, avoid exceeding the original scope, and collect and use the information only after obtaining your authorization and consent.

System permissions such as camera, microphone, and photo album are never enabled by default. They will be accessed only with your express authorization and only for the purpose of implementing specific functions/services, and you may withdraw your authorization at any time. In particular, please note that even where you have granted authorization allowing access to the corresponding permissions, we will access them only within the scope of your authorization. If you decline to grant such permissions, you will merely be unable to use the corresponding functions, and your normal use of the other functions of our products and/or services will not be affected.

In order to provide you with services, we collect and use your personal information as follows:

(A) Functions Necessary for Using Lanox Products or Services

1. Account Registration Information: When you first register a Lanox account, you are required to register with an email address and create a login password. We expressly remind you that your login password should meet complexity requirements to ensure account security. The above information is necessary for registering a Lanox account. If you decline to provide such information, you will not be able to register a Lanox platform account and may only use the browsing and search services. Once your account is successfully registered, you can log in to Lanox products or services using your email address.

2. Unified Account and Affiliated Platforms: Unless otherwise specified, all affiliated versions of Lanox use a unified Lanox account service. You may use your Lanox account to conveniently log in to and use the various Lanox-affiliated platforms and access the services or functions of the corresponding platforms. To provide a consistent service experience across Lanox-affiliated platforms, we may use SDKs or related technologies to synchronize accounts and content across affiliated platforms, which may include: sharing account information that you have set as public, such as your nickname and avatar; synchronizing content that you have liked, favorited, or generated with this account; and synchronizing other information you have authorized.

3. Content Generation Services: Based on artificial intelligence ("AI") model technology, Lanox provides you with AI content generation services (for images, audio, video, and other content). To provide such services, we will collect the text, images, audio/video content, and instructions that you actively select or input. We will analyze the above information in order to better generate content that meets your instructions and requirements. In addition, on the premise that the data has been processed with secure encryption technology and strictly de-identified such that no specific individual can be re-identified, we may use the collected data and the corresponding model-generated content for model optimization and for the continuous adjustment and improvement of model performance.

To implement the relevant functions, we may, for technical reasons, upload the original material content that you actively select or upload to our servers for processing. Certain functions may require the analysis and processing of material content containing human faces or voices. Please rest assured that such content will be used solely to achieve the generation results of functions and services involving "portrait processing" instructions or "digital human" features, and will never be used to identify specific individuals, verify personal identity, or for any other purpose.

When you use AI content generation (including but not limited to importing materials and exporting generated content), we will request your authorization for permissions such as microphone, camera, photo album, or storage, depending on the specific functions and service types you use. If you decline to grant such authorization, you will be unable to use functions such as importing materials and exporting generated content, but this will not affect your use of other Lanox functions. 4. Content Browsing and Search: While you browse Lanox content, we will record your usage. If you are not logged in to an account, we will record your clicks, browsing, downloads, shares, and feedback through the identifier corresponding to your device. If you are logged in, we will record your clicks, browsing, downloads, etc. through your account. When you use the search service, we will collect your search keyword information and log records for analysis in order to present you with more relevant search results. We expressly remind you that your search keywords and log information will be used to provide more accurate search results. We may also record information you provide, generate, or retain while using our services, such as query terms you enter when using search, historical terms and suggested terms you click, and links you click. You have the right to decline to provide the above information, but this may prevent you from using certain services or functions, or from achieving the intended results of the relevant services.

5. Model and Content Publishing: When you upload models or images, audio, or video content, we will request your authorization for permissions such as photo album, microphone, and camera, depending on the functions and service types you use. If you decline to grant such authorization, you will be unable to use the corresponding publishing functions, but this will not affect your use of other Lanox functions.

The content you publish will display information such as your nickname and avatar.

To continuously optimize our products and services and improve our content ecosystem, interaction quality, and user experience, we will compile statistics and conduct analyses based on the duration of the models, images, audio/video, and other works you publicly publish, as well as the viewing, interaction, and usage of such works, and may publicly display certain statistical data.

(B) Providing You with Products or Services

When you use Lanox services, in order to maintain the normal operation of our services, improve and optimize your service experience, and safeguard the security of your account, we will collect the following information about you:

Device Information: Based on the specific permissions you grant during software installation and use, we will receive and record information about the device you use (including hardware and software characteristics such as device model, operating system version, IP address, and software version number). We may collect certain device permissions in order to provide you with more convenient and better services and experiences.

Log Information: We will collect details of your use of our services and store them as logs, including the method, type, and status of network access, network quality data, operation logs, and service log information.

(C) Operations and Secure Functioning

To maintain the normal and stable operation of the relevant products or services, and to protect the safety and legitimate interests of you, other users, or the public, we will collect the following necessary information:

(1) To safeguard the secure operation of the software and services and the quality and efficiency of our operations, we will collect data such as your hardware model, operating system version number, carrier unified anonymous identifier, network device hardware address (device MAC address), IP address, WLAN access points (e.g., SSID, BSSID), Bluetooth, base stations, software version number, network access method/type/status, network quality data, operation/usage/service logs, and device sensor data (e.g., accelerometer).

(2) We may collect account information, device information, and service log information generated during your use and access, and use such information — together with information that our affiliates and partners have obtained your authorization for, or may lawfully provide to us — to assess account security and transaction security, conduct identity verification, identify violations of laws and regulations, and detect and prevent security incidents, and we will take necessary recording, analysis, and disposal measures in accordance with the law.

(D) Other Purposes

If we collect your personal information for other specific purposes not set out in this Policy, we will seek your authorization and consent in advance. Our purpose in collecting and using the above information is to better operate Lanox products and services. In the event of updates, we will notify you by means including but not limited to website announcements, in-site messages, telephone calls, or SMS messages.

If we cease to operate Lanox products or services, we will promptly stop collecting your personal information, notify you of the cessation of operations by individual delivery or by public announcement for a period of at least 30 days, and delete or anonymize the personal information we hold. Where children's personal information is involved, we will promptly notify the children's guardians of the cessation of operations.

(E) Exceptions to Authorization and Consent

You fully understand that, in accordance with the requirements of applicable laws and regulations, we do not need your authorization or consent to collect and use your personal information in the following circumstances:

Where it is related to the personal information controller's performance of obligations under laws and regulations;
Where it is directly related to national security or national defense security;
Where it is directly related to public safety, public health, or major public interests;
Where it is directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or the enforcement of judgments;
Where it is for the purpose of safeguarding the life, property, or other major legitimate rights and interests of the personal information subject or other individuals, but it is difficult to obtain the person's consent;
Where the personal information involved has been disclosed to the public by the personal information subject on their own initiative;
Where it is necessary for the execution and performance of a contract at the request of the personal information subject;
Where the personal information is collected from lawfully and publicly disclosed information, such as lawful news reports or government information disclosure channels;
Where it is necessary to maintain the secure and stable operation of the products or services provided, such as identifying and addressing product or service malfunctions;
Where the personal information controller is a news organization and the collection is necessary for lawful news reporting;
Where the personal information controller is an academic research institution and the collection is necessary for statistical or academic research in the public interest, provided that the personal information contained in the results is de-identified when the results of academic research or descriptions are provided externally.

Please note in particular that if information cannot, either alone or in combination with other information, identify you personally, it does not constitute your personal information in the legal sense. Where your information can, either alone or in combination with other information, identify you personally, or where we use data that cannot be linked to any specific personal information in combination with other personal information of yours, such information will, during the period of such combined use, be treated and protected as your personal information in accordance with this Policy.

III. How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies

To provide you with a smoother access experience, when you use our products or services, we may employ various technologies to collect and store data relating to your access to Lanox services, including but not limited to your device information, login information, and browsing history. This enables us to recognize you when you access or return to Lanox services and, by analyzing such data, to provide you with better and more extensive services. This includes the use of small data files to identify you, which allows us to understand your usage habits, spare you the step of repeatedly entering account information, and help determine your login status and account security. These data files may be cookies or other local storage provided by your browser or affiliated applications (collectively, "Cookies").

We will not use Cookies for any purpose other than those stated in this Privacy Policy. You may manage or delete Cookies according to your preferences. You can clear all Cookies stored on your computer. Most web browsers accept Cookies automatically, but you can usually modify your browser settings to reject Cookies as needed; you may also clear all Cookies stored within the software.

You understand and acknowledge that certain of our products/services can only be delivered through the use of Cookies or similar technologies. If you refuse to use or delete them, you may not be able to enjoy the best experience of our products and/or services, and this may also have a certain impact on the protection of your information and the security of your account.

IV. How We Share, Transfer, and Publicly Disclose Your Personal Information

(A) Sharing

We attach great importance to the protection of your personal information. Without your authorization and consent, we will not share your personal information with any third-party company, organization, or individual, except for information that has been anonymized or de-identified such that it cannot identify or be associated with you, and where the receiving third party is unable to re-identify the natural person to whom such information relates. We will share your personal information only for lawful, legitimate, necessary, specific, and explicit purposes, and will share only the personal information necessary. If we share your sensitive personal information, we will seek your authorization and consent again. If a third party uses your personal information beyond the scope of the original authorization, we will require that third party to obtain your authorization and consent anew. 1. Sharing necessary to deliver our services/functions: In certain circumstances, in order to provide you with our services or implement the business functions of our products and/or services, we must share your personal information in order to realize the core functions of our products and/or services or provide the services you require. For example: service providers that provide functional support for our products and/or services, including providing your order payment information to payment institutions that provide payment services; and, when we undergo due diligence or audits, sharing your relevant information with external regulators and professional advisory bodies (such as audit firms). All third-party service providers must comply with applicable laws and regulations, ensure the security of users' personal information, and sign confidentiality agreements. We require all third-party service providers to adhere to strict security measures and compliance requirements to ensure the security and privacy of user information.

2. Necessary and reasonable sharing within Lanox: To enable us to provide you with consistent services based on a unified account system, identify account anomalies, protect the personal and property safety of users or the public from infringement, and facilitate your unified account management, you acknowledge and agree that your relevant personal information may be shared internally within our products as necessary. We require all internal departments and teams involved in such sharing to adhere to strict security measures and compliance requirements to ensure the security and privacy of user information.

3. Sharing of information for security and statistical analysis:

(1) Safeguarding security of use: We attach great importance to account and service security. To safeguard your and other users' account and property security, and to protect your and our legitimate rights and interests from unlawful infringement, we and our affiliates or service providers may share necessary device, account, and log information. We require all affiliates and service providers to adhere to strict security measures and compliance requirements to ensure the security and privacy of user information.
(2) Analyzing product usage: To analyze the usage of our services and improve the user experience, we may share statistical data on product usage with affiliates or third parties. Such data is difficult to combine with other information to identify you personally.

4. Helping you participate in marketing and promotional activities: When you choose to participate in relevant marketing activities organized by us, our affiliates, or third parties, you may be required to provide your name, contact information, and bank account information. Such information constitutes sensitive personal information. Declining to provide it may affect your participation in the relevant activities but will not affect other functions. Only with your consent will we share such information with affiliates or third parties, in order to ensure you receive a consistent experience in joint activities or to entrust a third party to deliver rewards to you in a timely manner. We undertake that, without your separate authorization and consent, we will not share with them any personal information that can identify you.

5. Other circumstances:

(1) Sharing with third parties to protect you, our other users or employees, Lanox, or the public interest, property, or safety from harm (for example, in cases of fraud or credit risk);
(2) Sharing pursuant to relevant agreements you have executed with us (for example, service agreements) or other legal documents;
(3) Sharing consistent with relevant arrangements between you and other third parties.

(B) Transfer

We will not transfer your personal information to any company, organization, or individual, except in the following circumstances:

Transfer with explicit consent: After obtaining your explicit consent, we may transfer your personal information to other parties.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy liquidation involving the Lanox service provider, or other circumstances involving a merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy liquidation, if a transfer of personal information is involved, we will require the new company or organization holding your personal information to continue to be bound by this Policy; otherwise, we will require such company, organization, or individual to seek your authorization and consent anew.

(C) Public Disclosure

We will not publicly disclose your information except where such disclosure complies with laws and regulations or where we have obtained your authorization and consent, and any public disclosure of your personal information will be made using security measures consistent with industry standards.

When announcing penalties against accounts in violation of rules or engaged in fraudulent conduct, we may publicly disclose the relevant account information. Likewise, where you violate laws and regulations or the relevant agreements and rules of the Lanox platform, or where necessary to protect the personal and property safety of the Lanox platform or the public from infringement, we may disclose your account information in accordance with laws and regulations, platform agreements, or with your consent.

(D) Exceptions to Prior Authorization and Consent for Sharing, Transfer, and Public Disclosure

In the following circumstances, we may share, transfer, or publicly disclose your personal information without obtaining your prior authorization and consent:

Where it is related to the personal information controller's performance of obligations under laws and regulations;
Where it is directly related to national security or national defense security;
Where it is directly related to public safety, public health, or major public interests;
Where it is directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or the enforcement of judgments;
Where it is for the purpose of safeguarding your or other individuals' life, property, or other major legitimate rights and interests, but it is difficult to obtain the person's consent;
Personal information that you have disclosed to the public on your own initiative;
Where the personal information is collected from lawfully and publicly disclosed information, such as lawful news reports or government information disclosure channels.

V. How We Protect and Store Your Personal Information

(A) Storage of Your Personal Information

Retention period: The information you provide to us may be periodically archived or stored by us in accordance with our backup procedures, and will be retained for as long as required by the purposes for which such information was collected, to provide you with our products and services, to resolve disputes, to establish legal defenses, to conduct audits, to pursue legitimate business purposes, to enforce our agreements, and to comply with applicable law.

We determine the retention period of personal information primarily based on the following criteria:

(1) Completing the transaction purposes related to you and maintaining corresponding transaction and business records, in order to respond to any inquiries or complaints you may raise;
(2) Ensuring the security and quality of the services we provide to you;
(3) Whether you have consented to a longer retention period;
(4) Whether there are other special agreements or provisions of laws and regulations concerning the retention period.

After the retention period has expired, we will delete or anonymize your personal information in accordance with the requirements of applicable law. With respect to minors' information, regardless of whether the retention period has been reached, we will promptly delete or anonymize such information whenever the user requests deletion or the retention period expires.

(B) Measures We Take to Protect Your Information

We have always attached the utmost importance to protecting the security of users' personal information. To this end, we have adopted industry-standard security technical measures as well as organizational and management safeguards to minimize the risk of your information being leaked, damaged, misused, accessed without authorization, disclosed without authorization, or altered.

We will adopt reasonable and practicable security measures and technical means consistent with industry standards to store and protect your personal information, so as to prevent your information from being lost, accessed without authorization, publicly disclosed, used, modified, damaged, lost, or leaked. At the same time, we will regularly assess and update our personal information protection measures to ensure their effectiveness and reduce security risks. We will take all reasonably practicable measures to protect your personal information. We use encryption technology to ensure data confidentiality, and we employ trusted protection mechanisms to prevent malicious attacks on data.

We regularly conduct data security awareness training and security capability training for our employees to strengthen their understanding of the importance of protecting personal information. We sign confidentiality agreements with employees and partners who have access to your personal information, clearly define job responsibilities and codes of conduct, and have established strict access control and permission approval procedures to ensure that only authorized personnel may access personal information. Any breach of a confidentiality agreement will result in the relevant party being held accountable.

We have the responsibility and obligation to remind you that the Internet is not an absolutely secure environment. We recommend that you use complex passwords as required, refrain from disclosing your passwords or verification codes, avoid casually lending your account or devices to others, and take care to protect the security of your devices and personal information. If you log in to Lanox services on a public device, do not save your password, log out promptly after use, and be vigilant against impersonation by others. If you discover any anomaly in your account or that it has been compromised, please change your password promptly and, if necessary, contact us for assistance through the channels set out in this Policy.

If our physical, technical, or administrative safeguards are breached, resulting in unauthorized access to, public disclosure of, tampering with, or destruction of information and thereby harming your legitimate rights and interests, we will activate our emergency response plan within 24 hours of discovery and take reasonable remedial measures to minimize the impact on your personal information and other rights and interests.

(C) Handling of Personal Data Breach Incidents

In the unfortunate event of a personal data breach, we will, in accordance with the requirements of applicable laws and regulations, promptly inform you of: the basic circumstances and possible impact of the breach; the remedial measures we have taken or will take; suggestions for measures you can take on your own to prevent and mitigate risks; and the remedies available to you. We will promptly notify you of the relevant circumstances of the incident by email, letter, telephone, push notification, or other means. Where it is impracticable to notify each data subject individually, we will publish an announcement in a reasonable and effective manner. In addition, we will proactively report the handling of the personal data breach incident as required by the regulatory authorities.

VI. How You Can Manage Your Personal Information

We attach great importance to your concerns regarding your personal information and make every effort to protect your rights to access, correct, and delete your personal information, so that you have full capacity to safeguard your privacy and security. Your rights include:

(A) Access and Correction

We encourage you to update and amend your information to keep it accurate and current. You may query, access, and manage your personal account information. You can tap "Me" ("My") to access and manage your personal information, and complete modifications or additions yourself according to the management method applicable to the corresponding information, or request that we make them. You can change your password in the Personal Center – Settings interface. You may also contact our customer service staff or send an email to contact@lanox.ai to request correction of your information. We undertake to complete verification and processing within 30 business days.

Before you access, correct, or delete the foregoing information, we may require you to verify your identity in order to safeguard the security of your account.

(B) Deletion

In the following circumstances, you may request that we delete your personal information, except where the data has been anonymized or where laws and regulations provide otherwise:

The purpose of processing has been achieved, cannot be achieved, or the information is no longer necessary for achieving the purpose of processing;
We cease to provide the products or services, or the retention period has expired;
You withdraw your consent;
Our processing of personal information violates laws, administrative regulations, or our agreement with you;
Other circumstances provided for by laws and administrative regulations.

Deletion of personal information refers to the act of removing personal information from the systems involved in the delivery of routine business functions, such that it is kept in a state where it cannot be retrieved or accessed. After you delete, or we assist you in deleting, the relevant information, we will proceed as follows:

Immediately delete your personal information from the primary database;
Flag the personal information in backup systems to ensure it is thoroughly deleted at the end of the backup cycle;
Anonymize the personal information to ensure that you cannot be identified from the processed data.

We will securely store your personal information and restrict any further processing of it until the backups can be purged or anonymization is achieved.

(C) Objection to Processing, Return, Portability, and Copies of Data

You may contact us through the channels provided at the end of this Policy to submit requests to object to the processing of, obtain the return of, transfer, or obtain a copy of your personal information. We undertake to complete verification and processing within 15 business days.

(D) Changing the Scope of Your Authorization and Consent

If you wish to change the authorization of relevant permissions (for example, data storage), you can do so through your hardware device settings.

If you wish to control how you receive message notifications, you can do so in the relevant settings interface within the product or service.

You may also contact us through the channels provided at the end of this Policy to withdraw your authorization and consent. Once you withdraw your consent, we will no longer process the corresponding personal information. However, your decision to withdraw consent will not affect any processing of personal information previously carried out on the basis of your authorization. You may also permanently withdraw all authorization for us to continue collecting your personal information by deleting (deregistering) your account.

Please understand that each business function requires certain basic personal information in order to be delivered. When you withdraw your consent or authorization, we will be unable to continue providing you with the services corresponding to the withdrawn consent or authorization, and we will no longer process the corresponding personal information. However, your decision to withdraw consent or authorization will not affect any processing of personal information previously carried out on the basis of your authorization.

(E) Raising Objections

If you believe that our processing of your personal information violates this Policy or the requirements of applicable laws and regulations, you may raise an objection by email (email address: contact@lanox.ai). We undertake to respond to and address each of your valuable comments within 30 business days.

(F) Account Deletion (Deregistration)

When you need to terminate your use of our services, you may apply to delete your account by contacting our customer service staff. We undertake to complete verification and processing within 30 business days.

After your account is deleted, you will no longer be able to log in to and use our products and services with that account, nor any third-party products and services accessed via that account. All rights and interests accrued under that account during your use of our products and services that remain unused, as well as any anticipated future benefits, will be extinguished. The content, information, data, and records under that account will be deleted or anonymized (except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations or required by regulatory authorities). Once account deletion is complete, the account cannot be restored.

VII. Protection of Minors' Information

We attach great importance to the protection of minors' personal information. Lanox is intended primarily for adults. If you are a minor under the age of 18, you should read and agree to this Privacy Policy together with, and under the supervision and guidance of, your parents or other guardians before using this product. We take the following measures to protect minors' personal information:

Data encryption: We use industry-standard encryption technology to protect minors' personal information.
Access control: We implement strict access control measures to ensure that only authorized personnel can access minors' personal information.
Security audits: We conduct regular security audits to ensure the security of minors' personal information.

If you are the guardian of a minor under the age of 16, you should read and agree to this Privacy Policy on behalf of your ward before the minor uses Lanox and related services.

We protect minors' personal information in accordance with applicable national laws and regulations, and will collect, use, or disclose minors' personal information only where permitted by law, with the explicit consent of parents or other guardians, or where necessary to protect the minor. If we discover that we have collected a minor's personal information without prior verifiable consent from a guardian, we will endeavor to delete the relevant information as soon as possible.

If you are the guardian of a minor and have any questions regarding the personal information of the minor under your guardianship, please contact us through the contact channels published in this Privacy Policy.

VIII. How This Policy Is Updated

(A) In order to provide you with better services, this Privacy Policy will be updated from time to time. We will publish updated versions on the websites and mobile clients of the Lanox-affiliated platforms and, before they take effect, remind you of the relevant updates by website announcement or other appropriate means. Please also visit and follow Lanox to stay informed of the latest Privacy Policy.

(B) For material changes, we will additionally provide more prominent notice (we will explain the specific changes to the Privacy Policy by means including but not limited to email, SMS, or special prompts on browsing pages).
