How much does each Gemini model cost on LanoX vs Google?

LanoX is 80.0% to 81.1% below Google's introductory price for all 5 rows below. The "Official" figures on the LanoX pricing page match Google's introductory price, so the gaps are measured against it. LanoX prices come from the public LanoX model pricing page, read 2026-11-03. gemini-3-flash is compared with Google's "Gemini 3 Flash Preview" row. Google's page shows no output price for that model, so its output gap is left blank.

Gap = (LanoX price − official price) ÷ official price × 100, rounded half up to one decimal place. A negative figure means LanoX is cheaper. Example: gemini-3.8-flash output in Premium, (0.75 − 3.75) ÷ 3.75 = −80.0%. A "—" in a LanoX column means the LanoX page lists no price for that item. Cache-write prices for some Gemini models are on the pricing page.

What does a typical monthly workload cost?

Take a workload of 10M input tokens and 2M output tokens with no caching. It costs $3.00 on gemini-3.8-flash (Premium), compared with $15.00 at Google's introductory price. The formula comes from the LanoX pricing FAQ: input tokens ÷ 1,000,000 × input rate, plus output tokens ÷ 1,000,000 × output rate. The figures below are estimated from the 2026-11-03 pricing pages.

Who should not rely on this page?

This page compares 5 paid price rows against Google's introductory price on 2026-11-03, so it will not fit every case:

  • Budgets for 2027. Google's standard price of $1.50 / $7.50 applies from 2027-01-01. This page does not state what LanoX will charge after that date.
  • Google AI Studio users. Official prices here are from Vertex AI only, such as $0.75 input and $3.75 output per 1M tokens for Gemini 3.8 Flash (checked 2026-11-03). AI Studio prices are not used.
  • Users who need free-model limits. The 3 free models are listed, but this page does not publish their usage limits.
  • A full gemini-3-flash comparison. As of 2026-11-03, Google's page shows no output price for Gemini 3 Flash Preview, so 1 of the 3 gaps for that model is blank.

How often has the LanoX price changed?

Over 16 days of records since 2026-10-17, the LanoX Gemini price changed 2 times in the Premium group and 2 times in the Saver group. We save the LanoX public price for each model once a day. The CSV has one row per model per day, and a change is counted whenever the input or output price differs from the previous saved day, counted separately for each group. No snapshot was saved on 2026-10-18; those days are left out, not filled in. Models added later have fewer days on record. Per-model counts are in the CSV.

How were these numbers collected?

  • We read the public LanoX model pricing page once every 24 hours. No login, no coupons, no enterprise prices.
  • Official prices come from Google Cloud's public Vertex AI pricing page and are re-checked by hand. The last check was 2026-11-03. Google AI Studio prices are not used.
  • Gaps are measured against Google's price in effect on 2026-11-03, which is the introductory price for Gemini 3.8 Flash and 3.7 Flash. Prices exclude long-context and other surcharges.
  • Gaps are calculated from the two prices in the table with exact decimal arithmetic, then rounded half up to 1 decimal place.
  • Disclosure: LanoX publishes this page and is 1 of the 2 prices shown. Raw daily snapshots are kept so any figure can be checked.

What else do readers ask? (FAQ)

Why are there two price groups?

LanoX lists Gemini models in 2 groups, Premium and Saver, and each group has its own price list. On 2026-11-03, Premium covers 3 paid models (gemini-3.8-flash, gemini-3-flash and gemini-3.1-flash-lite), and Saver covers 2 (gemini-3.8-flash and gemini-3.7-flash). The badges read "At most 80% OFF" and "At most 81.1% OFF".

Which price do I actually pay?

You pay the LanoX rate. gemini-3.8-flash output in Premium, for instance, is charged at $0.75 per 1M tokens, and Google's $3.75 is not added on top. From the LanoX pricing page FAQ: "You pay the LanoX rate for that model. The provider's published price is shown for comparison; the two prices are not added together."

Do I need a subscription, or do I pay for a full 1M tokens?

No to both. The LanoX pricing FAQ says LanoX is "pay-as-you-go, with no monthly fee or subscription", and that "Per million tokens is a pricing unit, so you pay for the tokens you use." For example, 1 gemini-3.8-flash request in Premium with 2,000 input tokens and 500 output tokens costs $0.000675 at the 2026-11-03 rates.

How do I find the model ID to call?

The names in the first column, and the 3 free model names ending in ":free", are the model IDs shown on the LanoX pricing page. The LanoX pricing FAQ adds that you can "use your API key to call GET /v1/models for the model IDs available to your account". Setup steps are in the LanoX docs.
