Gap = (LanoX price − official price) ÷ official price × 100, rounded half up to one decimal place. A negative figure means LanoX is cheaper. Example: grok-4.7 output in Saver, (0.414 − 6) ÷ 6 = −93.1%. Long context has its own tiered prices, so check the LanoX pricing page for current rates.

What does a typical workload cost?
Take a workload of 10M input tokens and 2M output tokens in the first tier, with no caching. It costs $2.208 on grok-4.7 (Saver), compared with $32.00 at xAI's list price. The token formula comes from the LanoX pricing FAQ: input tokens ÷ 1,000,000 × input rate, plus output tokens ÷ 1,000,000 × output rate. Image and video rows multiply the unit price by the number of images or seconds. All figures are estimated from the 2026-11-03 pricing pages.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10M input + 2M output tokens | grok-4.7 | Premium | $32.00 | $8.00 |

| 100 images at 1K | grok-imagine-image | Premium | $2.00 | $1.50 |
| 10 seconds of 720P video | grok-imagine-video-1.5 | Premium | $1.40 | $0.77 |
Who should not rely on this page?
This page compares xAI's global rates on 2026-11-03, so it will not fit every case:
- Jobs heavy on image input. grok-imagine-image input costs $0.0075 on LanoX, while xAI's page lists $0.002 per image.
- 1080P on grok-imagine-video. The LanoX page shows "Price pending" for it as of 2026-11-03.
- grok-imagine-image-2.0 or grok-imagine-video-1.5-lite. Both are on xAI's page, but neither is on the LanoX pricing page as of 2026-11-03.
- xAI's US regional endpoint. xAI bills it at 1.1x the global rates. This page uses the global rates only.
- Negotiated or enterprise prices. Every price here is a public list price, read without logging in on 2026-11-03.
How often has the LanoX price changed?
Over 16 days of records since 2026-10-17, the LanoX Grok price changed 3 times in the Premium group and 1 time in the Saver group. We save the LanoX public price for each model once a day. The CSV has one row per model per day, and a change is counted whenever the input or output price differs from the previous saved day, counted separately for each group. No snapshot was saved on 2026-10-18; those days are left out, not filled in. Models added later, such as grok-4.6, have fewer days on record. Per-model counts are in the CSV.
How were these numbers collected?
- We read the public LanoX model pricing page once every 24 hours. No login, no coupons, no enterprise prices.
- Official prices come from xAI's public pricing page (global rates) and are re-checked by hand. The last check was 2026-11-03.
- Text gaps are shown for both LanoX tiers (1–200K and >200K). Image and video prices exclude video input. Prices exclude long-context and other surcharges unless the table says otherwise.
- Gaps are calculated from the two prices in the table with exact decimal arithmetic, then rounded half up to 1 decimal place.
- Disclosure: LanoX publishes this page and is 1 of the 2 prices shown. Raw daily snapshots are kept so any figure can be checked.

What else do readers ask? (FAQ)
Why are there two price groups?
LanoX lists Grok models in 2 groups, Premium and Saver, and each group has its own price list. On 2026-11-03, both groups cover the 3 text models (grok-4.7, grok-4.6 and grok-4.5), and the 3 image and video models appear in Premium only. The badges read "At most 75% OFF" and "At most 93.1% OFF".
Which price do I actually pay?
You pay the LanoX rate. grok-4.7 output in Saver, for instance, is charged at $0.414 per 1M tokens, and xAI's $6.00 is not added on top. From the LanoX pricing page FAQ: "You pay the LanoX rate for that model. The provider's published price is shown for comparison; the two prices are not added together."
Are image and video calls billed per request?
Not always. Of the 3 Grok media models here, grok-imagine-image is priced per image and the 2 video models per second of output. The LanoX pricing FAQ says: "Image models may charge per image or by token usage, with rates that vary by resolution, quality, and whether the input contains text or images. Video models may charge by generated duration, with different rates for resolution and generation mode."
Do I need a subscription?
No. The LanoX pricing FAQ says LanoX is "pay-as-you-go, with no monthly fee or subscription", billed in US dollars, with 1 balance usable across "the text, image, and video models enabled for your account".
How do I find the model ID to call?
The 6 names in the tables above are the model IDs shown on the LanoX pricing page. The LanoX pricing FAQ adds that you can "use your API key to call GET /v1/models for the model IDs available to your account". Setup steps are in the LanoX docs.
