Frequently asked questions

Understand how LanoX handles prompts, reliability, and API key security.

Privacy policy
01Does LanoX store my prompts and responses?

No. LanoX's security policy states that the platform does not store API prompts or model responses, use that content for training or marketing, or sell it. Account, usage, and billing records are kept to provide the service, but they do not contain your prompts or responses. This policy applies to LanoX; upstream model providers have their own data policies, which you should check separately.

02How can I tell whether a multi-model API is reliable?

Test it with real workloads and measure success rates, response times, and performance under concurrent traffic. Also review rate limits, error messages, usage records, and available support channels. For production use, confirm service commitments and incident handling procedures. A successful test call or a low price alone does not establish long-term reliability.

03How do I keep my API key secure?

Store your API key on the server or in a protected local configuration. Keep it out of browser code, public repositories, and screenshots. For team use, manage keys by project and revoke and replace any key that is exposed. Redact keys from logs before sharing them for troubleshooting.
